English and the 21st century skills – our new fully online C1 course prepares you for the future in every way!

If 2020 has taught us one thing, it is that the ability to adapt to change, including huge technological changes, is a skill that is essential in the modern world. In fact, adaptability is one of the "2030 workplace skills" which young people will need, if they are to be competitive in a jobs market dominated by AI and globalisation.

For years in our English language classrooms, we have been improving many of the "soft" skills such as teamwork, communication, interpersonal skills and creativity but now we are very excited to be launching a FULLY ONLINE C1-level course which will not only focus on learning English, but will allow students to build the skills vital skills they will need in the future, such as Creativity, Collaboration, Critical thinking, Communication, being Connected in a digital world and the ability to adapt and Change depending on the situation.

The course is fully online, with a mixture of synchronous lessons on Zoom and collaborative, asynchronous tasks on a dedicated platform.

This course is best suited for:

• Students who have good time management skills and are self-disciplined
• Students who want a non-traditional approach to learning English, and an opportunity to combine both language learning and real-life skills
• Students who want to sit the summer 2021 Advanced exam
• Students aged between 15 and 20 years of age
• Students who are comfortable using technology
• Students who like working with others
